The European Association for Gender Research, Education and Documentation, is a broad association for academics, practitioners, activists and institutions in the field of Women’s, Gender, Transgender, Sexuality, and Queer studies, feminist research, women’s, sexual and LGBTQI rights, equality, and diversity.

Pauline Stoltz from DPS and FREIA is secretary of this organization and co-organiser of the next EFRC conference, which is going to take place in Milan, 15-18 June 2022, at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Milan, Italy.

The theme of the conference is Social Change in a Feminist Perspective: Situating Gender Research in Times of Political Contention. There are 10 strands to choose from and keynotes include Jasbir Puar.

Deadline for abstracts is 21 November 2021.
