Conference fees

All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK)*. Accommodation is not included in the fees – please scroll down to see the accommodation options.

VAT

Non-Danish participants will – if certain requirements are fulfilled – be able to claim back the VAT paid:

  • Participation in the conference
  • Food and beverages during the conference (breaks & lunches both days)
  • Conference materials

Conference dinner

Three-course conference dinner including 2 glasses of wine (or other beverages) and coffee/tea at Restaurant Vandvid (special dietary options will be available upon request when you register for the conference).  

Payment

The conference fee can be paid via credit cards only. The fee includes 25% Danish VAT.

Cancellation policy

  • Registration is binding and non-refundable.
  • Non-arrivals will be non-refundable for any reason.
  • Substitute participants will be accepted at any time – a name will be required.

Venue

The conference will be held at Aalborg University Copenhagen, A.C. Meyers Vænge 15, 2450 Copenhagen.

The nearest train station is “Sydhavn” 750 m from the university (please see figure 2 which show the walking route from the train station to the university). 

Travel

From the airport (Copenhagen Airport)

Metro

  • Take the metro M2 (yellow line) direction “Vanløse” from Terminal 3/Lufthavnen at the airport (Copenhagen Airport). Departs every 5 minutes.
  • Get off “Nørreport” metro station.
  • Walk approx. 5 minutes to “Nørreport” S-train station.
  • Take the S-train E direction “Køge” or the S-train A direction “Hundige” (departures in this direction every 5 min).
  • Get off the train at “Sydhavn” station and follow the exit direction “Enghavevej”.
  • Turn right when you get out of the train station and follow the street “Enghavevej” until you see the university on your left-hand side. See figure 2 below.

Train

You can also take any regional train (RE) direction “Nivå” or “Helsingør”and then change at the central train station (København H). 

Taxi

Follow the directions to the taxi stand (turn left when you leave the arrivals area in terminal 3). A taxi from the airport to A.C. Meyers Vænge 15/Aalborg University Copenhagen costs about DKK 200-250 (approx. 27-33 EUR).

From the central train station in Copehagen (Københvan N)

Train

  • Take the S-train E direction “Køge” or the S-train A direction “Hundige” (departures in this direction every 5 min).
  • Get off the train at “Sydhavn” station and follow the exit direction “Enghavevej”.
  • Turn right when you get out of the train station and follow the street “Enghavevej” until you see the university on your left-hand side. See walking route on the map on the last page.

Bus

  • Go to the bus stops in the street Bernstorffsgade outside the central train station.
  • Take bus no. 34 direction “Vestamager”/”Nøragersmindevej”. Bus no. 34 also stops very close to the Wakeup Copenhagen Hotel in Carsten Niebuhrsgade (Bus stop: “Tivoli Hotel (Kalvebod Brygge)”.
  • Get off at “Scandiagade (Teglholmsgade)” – see figure 2.
  • Walk to the university (A.C. Meyers Vænge 15) – approx. 450 m.
